last friday my grandpa passed away. i've been out of town and don't mind being backed up again at all. i was able to spend several wonderful days with my family eating, hiking, catching up, telling stories, and eating. massive amounts of eating.
in honor of him and as a throwback i'm posting some photos of the only time my son met his great grandpa ted. when finn pants was only 3 months old my dad and i hopped in the car and roadtripped down to texas for a week.
i'm so very glad we made the trip.
