being hired by a friend's family can be a bit unnerving. i never want them to use me out of obligation and i want to exceed their expectations.

being hired by a friend's family to shoot 17 people didn't help the nerves. i've never shot a group that large in a portrait setting before. lucky for me every single one of them was awesome. they have that family dynamic where everyone talks to everyone, jokes around, loves on each other. and with 7 kids you would expect a meltdown here or there - nope. not. one. i can say in all honesty this was one of the easiest shoot i've ever done.

and we found a little garden shop. perfect.
